ServSafe® Manager is a food safety training program of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation offered by Tarrant Area Food Bank to Food Bank Staff, Partner Agencies, Community Kitchen graduates and program volunteers.


ServSafe Manager, formerly called ServSafe® Essentials, blends lecture, video and activities in a way that constantly engages the learner with food safety content. This blended learning approach helps students listen, watch, practice, and remember key food safety lessons. This course is offered as a one day workshop and includes the Food Protection Manager examination. Lunch is provided to training attendees.
